Tom says : “Think I’ll check out what’s happening here in London with the Pataphysical crowd - sounds good for a laugh!”
Victoria says : “Well. I read somewhere that Women in the workplace are saying they fear breaking down in front of colleagues ‘cos they may lose respect or even hamper their own career progress if they appear to be weak and not in control. I think I would just feel silly crying in front of work colleagues but I have sobbed through quite a few 'tearjerker’ films…
if it’s been with friends we’ve usually ended up laughing about it though…I wonder what that means?”
Emma says : “What people do in private is up to them but come on - crying in public-at work? Pl…eeease – how can anyone expect to be taken seriously male or female?!
For me crying amongst heterosexual men is only ever acceptable in exceptional circumstances: -Like when somebody dies or possibly if their football team loses the cup final on penalties after extra time - otherwise it is just a turn-off for a girl!!.
