HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE WEIGHT DEBATE....................

Might that all be about to change? After all who just a few years ago would have thought Men’s toilet bags would ever contain face and skincare products?

Many men could clearly, do with losing a bit of weight.
Obesity in Britain is growing 50% faster in Men than in Women - but in the past Men have not been subjected to the same ‘body image’ pressures that women face in our society.
Size hasn’t mattered-most popular suit sizes sold are 40,42 & 44 which equates to women’s sizes 14, 16 and 18.!
Sure Brad Pitt probably falls into that size range but we’re talking lean muscle! No fat scan needed!
Some major companies are now trying to attract men who are interested in eating well and weight loss. Tesco, Britain’s largest retailer have just launched “For Him” pages on their online diet service
Men though, are proving very difficult customers to win-over – apparently totally ‘put-off’ by products bearing words like ‘Diet’ & ‘Slim’ – perhaps embarrassed or in denial?
Humour in advertising has always appealed to male customers and the campaign Coke Zero, or “coke bloke” was launched using bloke jokes. One thing is certain, with major companies now taking this potentially lucrative market seriously, the last laugh may not be had by the men who want to lose weight.
